Ski Slope And Power Plant

Danish architect Bjarke Ingels designed this "waste-to-energy" power plant and combined it with a artificial ski slope. What a fantastic idea to build this Denmark, a country as flat as The Netherlands without any mountains to ski from! But in 2016 this complex should be finished and rise up next to the capital Copenhagen.

According to the architect this will be a very green power plant, but you can question how green an artificial ski slope actually is. As a reminder of how many waste we produce, the plant will errupt smoke rings every time 1 ton of fossil CO2 is being used. Clever!
